Understanding The Problem

The key problem that Bank of Uganda (BoU) wanted to solve was to establish an Electronic Money Data Replication Service (EMDRS) that would enable real-time data aggregation, analysis, and monitoring of electronic money transactions while ensuring data security, regulatory compliance, scalability, and reliability. This solution would empower BoU to fulfill its regulatory responsibilities effectively and maintain the stability and integrity of Uganda’s financial system.
